The tributaries such as Aganan and Salog River volume of water remained not posing threat to overflow. City were jubilant when it was officially declared safe by 12AM and the watchers were ordered to back to station.

Road to Recovery
The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (PDRRMC) is set to utilize its P21-million worth of fund to help the victims of Typhoon Yolanda in northern Iloilo.
The money will be injected to Northern Iloilo to stimulate the economy. Provincial Health Office ( PHO ) will position Medical Staff and medicines to avert post-disaster diseases such as tetanus , liptospirosis , acute resperatory infection and food and water borne-diseases. The Hospital Operation and Management System ( HOMS) will assist in the repair of Barotac Viejo and Sara District Hospital to make it operational again . Department of Education ( DepEd) and Department of Health ( DOH) will assess and quantify the corresponding financial loss of schools and health center respectively. Provincial Social Welfare and Development will provide financial assistance to repair and rebuild houses. Provincial Agriculturals Office will assist in restoring the agricultural lands. Department of Public Work and Highways ( DPWH) will construct bridge to connect towns of Lambunao , Bingawan and Calinog to Janiuay. Iloilo is determined to rebuild the community back in shape again.

NGCP and Ileco III committed to restore power within three weeks with the help of the provincial government.
